Hewlett Swim Club Swims at Hewlett High School and is a member of the Nassau County Municipal Swim Conference winter league.
When do we swim?
Practices begin in October and continue through March
Practices are Monday through Thursday when school is in session from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.
Who swims?
Age groups include 8 & under swimmers 9 & 10 year olds 11 & 12 year olds and 13 & over.
Boys and girls are all on the team together but compete boys against boys girls against girls.
Swimmers must live in School district 14 to compete on this team.
Team Initial Roster Additional Cuts and Additions Will Be Made Final Roster Mid November
What does it cost to join the team?
Hewlett Woodmere Schools registration fee $95.00
Hewlett Swim Club registration fee $50.00
Hewlett Swim Club equipment fees $70.00 includes the below and a mesh bag to carry it in
Each swimmer needs to have Kickboard, pull buoy, paddles, and fins
Hewlett Swim Club bathing suit approx $60.00
Hewlett Swim Club Bathing Cap (optional) $10.00
all equipment and suits need to pay sales taxes and shipping fees.

Who will make the team?
The criteria to make the team is still being developed things that are being addressed are Team Requirements to fill events, availability of backups and second, third, fourth, etc places finishers in a meet. League requirements only 1 person per age group gets to swim champs. If we have 10 8 & under girls on the team only 4 will swim in champs 1 Freestyle 1 Backstroke 1 Breaststroke 1 Butterfly 6 WILL NOT SWIM

Who made the team for 2007-08?
Will be posted as soon as possible after evaluations October 16 17 & 18 by Sunday October 21.

Hempstead, Freeport, Echo, Syosset, Manhasset PAL, Town of North Hempstead, Long Beach, and Great Neck.
